White to Sutton Island poet Rachel Field. In the kitchen, boil lobster or make molasses cookies from the wide selection of Maine cookbooks. ![]() The Victory Chimes ghosts by in light airs The electric range is new and the updated refrigerator ample. For coffee drinkers, a coffeemaker, drip glass carafe and coffee bean grinder are provided. Teapot, cozies and other acoutrements are supplied for tea drinkers. A microwave oven is also available. ![]() Crab shells from a prior summer Upstairs, let the distant clang of the bell buoy rock you to sleep in one of five bedrooms. The enormous master bedroom, with a double bed, affords sweeping views of northern and western Mount Desert Island. ![]() Master bedroom The two double bedrooms and two singles are furnished with twin beds. ![]() Double bedroom number 1 All bed linens are provided throughout the tenants' stay. ![]() Double bedroom number 2 For children, a secret door in a closet makes for intrigue and entertainment. ![]() Single bedroom Eagle Point has three bathrooms. The clawfoot bathtubs are all fitted with shower hoops and an ample supply of towels provided. ![]() From the Islesford town dock, Eagle Point is a seven-minute walk via a woodland path. The house is also easily accessed by vehicle and taxi arrangements for transporting baggage can be arranged. ![]() A garden cart is provided for ferrying groceries to and from the dock and island store. ![]() The rent is $1,500 per week. |
